It's the food and service that shines. Since we found out about new ownership, we've been back almost every weekend. Prime rib us some of the best. Homemade bread and soft pretzel are to die for. Champagne scallops soup loaded with real scallops. To say that the service is friendly is an understatement. Well done guys.
Our view and service was great!! Loved the atmosphere, sitting outside by the water. Didn't love hearing the traffic near by. Our server was incredible. The crab sandwich was delicious! The chef even made a substitute exception for us. I definitely recommend checking out Conestoga restaurant.
Wonderful family location with diverse menu ranging from sandwiches to steaks. Ample portions in a pleasant, relaxed environment that was a wonderful find for us on our last evening in Lancaster! Would gladly recommend to any out-of-towners looking for a nice dinner location!
The service was great! So much better than previous owners! The steak was cooked perfectly and the salmon was amazing! Definitely need to upgrade their outside tables and invest in bug zappers!!
I have tried a wide array of dishes here at the Conestoga since it has reopened. The service is spectacular, everyone being extremely polite and attentive, while the food is outstanding. No matter if what I am getting is something simple or a full entree, the Conestoga has yet to disappoint, in all aspects. It also has a wonderful adult beverage selection with 14 beers on tap in the bar!
The chef is a true professional. Menu has a perfect mix of interesting and uncommon dishes as well as standard fare so you enjoy yourself and so can your picky friends. Everything came out perfect most especially the calamari which is of course difficult to get just right. The wait staff could be a touch more professional but for the price point i can hardly complain. Decent beer selection too. This may well behind our go-to for entertaining away from the house.
The food so good!! I love that it’s all made in house. Even the breads and pizza doughs, even the salad dressings!! When you wanna eat natural this is the place to go !!! Everything I ate was soooo good! The menu has some things I’ve never heard of. I’m so glad to see a unique menu. Not just the same old , same old. The southwest egg rolls were great! And the crusty French bread served with my crab dip was literally perfect!!! I come back time and time again because I can’t get over how good the food is here! Just went again yesterday and had the prime rib. Oh my Lord!!! The food is great. The atmosphere is amazing and the staff is incredible!!!
Just an all around great spot to eat, the deck by the water was awesome, the waitress Taylor was absolutely fantastic, she was friendly and very attentive!!! The new owner was out on the floor helping as he could and came to make sure we were satisfied, all in all great experience and highly recommend!!! I had the prime rib, it was fantastic!!!
